Welcome to Wiley Living History, an online community devoted to Wiley’s history, past, present, and future.
The book, which marks the culmination of our extraordinary bicentennial year, documents Wiley’s evolution over two centuries from a humble printing shop to family firm to publicly-traded global corporation, depicting its pivotal role in the evolution of publishing against a social, cultural, and economic backdrop. It is a compelling story about Wiley’s unique culture — a story about adapting, changing, and evolving.
As comprehensive as Knowledge for Generations is, undoubtedly much history was not captured. And our story isn't ending with publication — we are continuing to make history daily. As a result, we have created this online community, to capture untold and ongoing Wiley history, past, present, and future.
